(Programs designed to ensure youth are engaged during most vulnerable to violence)

Mentoring and Social & Learning Behavior Therapy Program 

KLEOs’ 2nd  Chance Program (Behavioral Therapy-Focus on Education,-Sustaining Housing-Employment)

  • 52 week program for Justice involved males 16-24 (Ex Offenders either on probation or have 3 Prior arrest
  • Youth Mentoring 10:1 ratio
  • 5 hours a week of Behavioral Therapy
  • 25 hours of paid work experience

Violence Free Zone

  • 52 week program that operates in CPS
  • Goal – Increase attendance, decrease violence, increase academic performance
  • Target 10% of school population
  • Intensive mentoring

Lyric Mentoring Organization 

  • 18-32
  • Learning the Art of Performing Poetry
  • Weekly Performance (Tuesday Evenings)
  • Group Performance
  • Poet Mentoring Poet
